As We Gather
Is the Service at which we celebrate The
Lord's Supper. What a joy! What a privilege! In The Sacrament our Lord
gives
into our mouths not only bread and wine, but also His very Body and Blood to eat
and drink. In this Sacrament He assures us
that our sins are forgiven and He strengthens our faith.
Both common cup and Individual cup will be
received at the same time; afterward the individual cups should be placed in
the bowls against the wall as you return to your seat.
Holy Communion guests please read: The Sacred Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions teach that prior to a person's receiving the Lord's Supper that a person needs to be (1) Baptized in the name of the Triune God, (2)instructed in the meaning of the Sacrament and (3) be able to examine himself or herself. The following questions are helpful in this self-examination prior to receiving the Lord's Supper.
(1) Do I believe that I am a sinful human
being without hope of eternal life except for God's mercy in Christ?
(2) Do I believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and my
personal Savior?
(3) Do I believe that He is personally present in the Sacrament
of Holy Communion with His Body and Blood?
(4) Do I desire by the power of the Holy Spirit to live a
Godly life?
Visitors need to speak with our pastor or an elder before receiving the Sacrament. Thank you for honoring this practice.
Communion Sunday is usually the Second and Fourth Sunday of each month.
For children pre-K through teen is taught
prior to service every Sunday along with the school year. All are invited
and
welcome to attend!
Small group Bible study is held each Sunday
morning prior to service downstairs in our Fellowship Hall. These studies
are geared towards adults, Young and Old, who have a thirst for more knowledge
of our Lord through the study of
the Holy Scriptures and related text. The current topic(s):

Bring your bible and enjoy great fellowship
(and a cup of coffee), as we learn together! All are invited and
welcome
to attend. It is not necessary to start a class from the beginning or to
attend every one, so come down any time! We hope
