When St. Mark Lutheran Church and School was founded in 1895, the Christian day school served as an educational arm for the members of the congregation. Today, while still serving members and teaching exclusively the beliefs of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, St. Mark Lutheran School serves families and students from many backgrounds. Some include those from other Lutheran congregations, other Christian denominations, other religious backgrounds, and those with no formal church background. We welcome members of the greater Cleveland community to become involved in our school and the Christian education it offers.
Partners In Elementary Christian Education
The St. Mark Lutheran Church and School P.I.E.C.E. of Your Heart project (Partners In Elementary Christian Education) evolved from an idea to promote and sustain Christain education in an urban setting. Operating with the blessings of a grant from Ohio Gospel Partners, and in association with videographers Bob and Luanne Becker of Cleveland and the P.I.E.C.E. committee, we have produced a package to distribute to alumni, businesses, and Christian churches with the goal of making St. Mark a vital, necessary mission here in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood. Your annual tax deductible donation could make a difference, allowing St. Mark Lutheran School to continue MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE FUTURE.

Thursday Stitching Club

Come join us the 2nd & 4th Thursdays beginning Sept 8th 3:30-5:30 and 6:30-8:30. Join us as we work on projects together and are able to share experiences. We want to encourage all stitchers (beginner or advanced) to join in and pass our skills of knitting, crocheting, needlepoint or cross-stitch to the younger generation....Men also welcome. (yes, real men stitch too)!!!
