Oct. 28 is Reformation Sunday, the celebration of the birth of the Lutheran Church and protestantism in general. Luther finally understood the significance of Rom. 3:24 "...that are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (NRSV)

Hello and welcome to our website for St. Martin Lutheran Church. I'm Pastor Wally Anderson, and I have been the pastor here since 1989. My wife, Susan, is a teacher at Malvern Elementary, and we want to invite you to browse through our site and if you are looking for a church home, we hope you would consider visiting St. Martin. We're a small congregation in a small town, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ because that's what God has called us to do.
Some people call Lutheranism an "acquired taste", and if it is your taste in Christian worship and practice, I think you'll find yourself right at home here.
