History of Our Redeemer LWML
A Ladies Aid was first organized by members of this congregation in July 1916. It was active until October of 1918 when the city of Cloquet was destroyed by fire. A Ladies Aid was reorganized in July 1924 and monthly meetings were held until November 1925.
The Ladies Aid group was started again in October of 1942 the name but the name was changed to Lutheran's Women's League in November of that year. The church's name was changed to Our Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church so the ladies group was known as Our Redeemer Lutheran's Women's League as of January 1943.
Our Redeemer Women's League joined Lutheran Women's Missionary League in July 1947.
