Secret Sisters
Secret Sisters are all about caring and remembering their sister on her birthday, Anniversary, sepcial holidays, during illness, if she is feeling low, or just to let her know that she cares and is thinking of her, thus promoting an atmosphere of caring.

During the first week of June the "Revealing" is held and each sister reveals who her sister was during the past year. She also draws a new sister for the coming year.

The Secret Sisters meet four times during the year for dinner and fellowship. All ladies of St. Paul and friends are welcome and encouraged to be a part of the Secret Sisters.

WELCA

All ladies of St. Paul are part of the "Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America," and are encouraged to participate in all activities.

The Sewing Circle is a sub group of the WELCA of St. Paul. Each month at least two ladies attend teh Women's Council meeting to bring back information for projects for the Circle.

Campbell lables are collected folr the Lutheran School in Dayton. The labels are used by the School to get items needed that they would otherwise not have.

Thankoffering Sunday is held on the Second Sunday in November at St. Paul. The Altar Guild decorates the church and the ladies do most of the morning worship service that Sunday. Offerings collected are sent to the headquarters of the WELCA to be used for thier work in the church worldwide.

In December, several ladies go to Bethany Lutheran Village to help wrap gifts that were made by all of the Miami Valley Lutheran churches to be given as gifts at Christmas to the different institutions in the area.

Sewing Circle
The Sewing Circle is dedicated to making items need by Lutheran Social Services of Miami Valley and Bethany Lutheran Village.

Typical projects include making: lap robes, pillows, towel bibs, men's utility bags, tote bags, walker bags, memo pads and Christmas ties. The Circle also collects batteries and bath size soap for Christmas bags provided to Lutheran Social Services.

The sewing circle, is currently inactive as a group, however individual ladies continue individually in this ministry.
