I don't know why folks like knowing random things about strangers, but we do especially if their interests coincide with our own. So knock yourself out if you'd like, with a few of my favorite websites. I doubt there will be any grand insight into my psyche, but who knows. |

Lets just begin with the basics, weather, news and whatnot. Although I have a television, it is not hooked up to cable or satellite, so I get all my weather and news online. Of course anyone that can navigate to this site, can most assuredly find the weather site or their favorite news outlet, but I'm including it anyway. |

I prefer to get my news on this site because it is strictly news headlines. It bothers me that news channels and many news websites have to rely on promotional, attention-getting graphics and sound effects. Really, I do not want to have death or destruction shoved in my face with a catchy little theme song and high tech re-enaction or five hundred panels of experts arguing. Just the news, thanks. |

More news, except this is so I can keep up with local happenings. I just recently moved to Indianapolis from a small town and I'm not quite used to having so much going on. In my hometown, one news channel actually followed a stray dog around for a week, reporting on where it went and trying to find it a home. |

I guess I should have my alma mater on here since I really enjoyed my time at this school. I only wish my degree had proven more helpful with my job hunt. To be fair, I could've been more involved and perhaps a little networking would have made all the difference. It is a nice homey school and if I still lived in town, I would most certainly be attending graduate school there. |

Ok, last July I decided to give jogging a try and this site was my inspiration. It took me from sitting around baking cookies to jogging my first race in 2 1/2 months. They also have a running log where you can write about your distance and pace and then make out cool graphs with the data. In addition, there are blogs for the new or experienced runner. Anyway, I just think its a great site. |

Come on, this is the absolute best cartoon and was a great live-action series as well. I have easy access to the entire 9 episodes developed before it was so sadly taken off the air. Shame, shame on the networks for denying us more Tick!
(ok, there are several Tick websites available, but since I have many nerdy Rose friends, I opted for this one). If you arent familiar with this character, you should be.... very funny. |
