Preamble to Our Constitution

We, who are single and members of congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and affiliated Synods, joined “for the perfecting of saints and for work of (singles) ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12), adopt and subscribe to the following Constitution and bylaws recognizing our unity in the Christian faith and our common practice of this faith through the following Scriptural guidelines.

Jesus has commanded all Christians to practice fellowship with one another (Acts 2:42), witness to all people (Acts 1:8), help each other grow in the word (Eph 4:11-14), serve in Christian love (John 13:35), and give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4).
