Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
Mission Teams
Much of the work done by the congregation in support of worship is carried out through Mission Teams. These teams, copmrised of volunteer congregation members, support the ongoing ministry efforts of Good Shepherd. Each congregation member serves on a Mission Team; each Team provides support for worship one month each year.

Some of the church activities conducted through Mission Teams include: supporting the pastor in worship (assisting with communion, serving as an acolyte, reading the lessons, serving as an usher); providing leadership for the nursery, hosting the coffee hour (preparing and serving coffee, providing light refreshments); and providing outreach to the greater Decorah community through special service (assisting at nursing homes, providing volunteer support for special community-wide projects and programs, etc.).
