Music/Worship Ministries

Worship is the heart and center of our life together at Good Shepherd. In addition to the work of the Mission Teams, there are several other groups whose ministries directly support the worship life of our congregation. They include:

Altar Guild - The Altar Guild prepares the communion elements for distribution and assists in clean-up after communion. Members also help prepare the sanctuary and the church for special events and church celebrations.

Senior Choir - A gathering of adult congregation members who share their musical gifts during Sunday worship. All adults who love to sing are invited to join rehearsals on selected Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. Come lift up your heart and voice in song.

Junior Choir - Youth in grades 1-6 are invited to join the Junior Choir and contribute to worship through song.

Good Shepherd Band - A brass and wind ensemble, which provides special music during Sunday worship services approximately once per month. New members are always welcome.

Prayer Team - A group which prays on a rotating basis for all members of the congregation, as well as special concerns in the Church and the world.
