The Procession to Zion Church |

On April 17, 2005, following the worship service at Old Zion Church, the worshippers processed from Old Zion to the church on River Road passing the former Walnut Street Church along the way.
Following the Crucifer and Acolytes, members strolled toward Walnut Street |

| |

Following the Crucifer, members continued along Walnut Street ...
... heading toward what was at one time the Walnut Street Church. |

| |

At the previous home of Zion Lutheran, Pastor Hoffman paused to offer a prayer of thanks for the years past and hope and guidance for the future.
Following the prayer, the members continued along Walnut, then turned toward Zion Lutheran on River Road. |

| |

Marchers paused at River Road until it was safe to cross, then continued on up the hill.
Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord And thus surround the throne.
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.
