"What is God doing these days?" You will hear amazing answers at "A
Celebration of Mission in Music and Ministry" to be held at St. John
Lutheran School, Champaign, on Sunday, June 8, at 4:00 p.m. This
gathering is sponsored by the Champaign and Danville Circuits and
partially funded by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Our speaker, Gary
W. Thies, LCMS Mission Development Counselor, will thrill you with
stories from around the world of mission joys and successes. A free-will
offering will support two specific mission projects, and a mass choir
will lead our praise of God. Can we plan to see you there?
A mass
choir, a thrilling speaker and the opportunity to gather with other
believers to celebrate God’s mission and to hear about mission successes
will all be part of the "Celebration of Missions in Music and Ministry,"
sponsored by the LCMS churches of our area on Sunday, June 8, at 4:00 p.m.
at St. John Lutheran School, 509 South Mattis, Champaign. Partially funded
by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The message that Gary Thies brings
will impact your life, showing how God uses people from all walks of life
to bring his message of love and peace to those who need it. Plan to join
us.

provide hymnals (Kazakhstan Lutherans) and Bibles (Nuer language for
Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya).
