Thanks to all who helped with this activity (announcement shown below).
Volunteers from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans helped sort food collected by the Postal Carriers on May 12, 2003. Twenty one volunteers sorted 7,000 pounds of donated food. The volunteers included boys, leaders and friends of Boy Scout Troup 17; Pastor John Setterlund of St Andrews Campus Church, and various Thrivent members and friends. Two scouts were promoted in rank due to , accumulated services hours after this event. This was our sixth time helping the Easter Illinois Food Bank sort food donated through the Postal Workers collection; normally we have more students and congregational members of St Andrews, but finals hit at the wrong time this year.
Rick and Ronda Craig (Rick, pictured, is a Thrivent Financial Associate) marked 5 donated food items sent through the normal mail pickup with a yellow smiley sticker; the volunteers found 3 of those, providing an
additional $25 donation from the Craig's.

Directions from Champaign: North on Lincoln Ave over I-74, take the first left onto the frontage road.
Take the First right onto North Shore Drive. Eastern Illinois Food Bank is the second building on
the left.
