Hi!

I'm Norm Fisher, Congregational Service Team Director (CSTD) for the Champaign County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. My position on the Chapter Board involves helping you to make use of the funding available to you as congregational coordinators, helping you to figure out how to do what you need to do, and serving as your liason to the Chapter Leadership.

I created this list to help to improve communications, perhaps saving a stamp so you can receive periodic postings by e-mail rather than through a letter from your local Chapter. I hope to keep it as a low-volume list, hopefully giving information you need to do your jobs as a congregational coordinator and work together to make the Champaign Chapter be a success and make a difference in the lives of the people in Champaign County.

If you know of a leader in your congregation who has e-mail but is not receiving these updates, please contact me and get them added to the list.

Coming up in the near future (October 19th) is the Election Luncheon, where Thrivent members and their families from Champaign County can attend a free luncheon, find out more about Thrivent, and vote for local and national leaders for their organization. I would appreciate your assistance in getting information on this event inserted in the bulletins of your church. If you could respond to this note if you will take the
initiative to go to the web site and get your church to insert the bulletins, and perhaps mail me a copy of the bulletins for our files (so future boards can see how it was done) I would appreciate it. The web
site is: http://champaignchapter.org/r.php?election .. your church secretary could get the text directly from there and cut and paste it into the bulletins. We will need to contact leaders in each of the 19 churches
in Champaign County to get this event publicized, and if you could step forward it would help us out a bit.
