The Fall Whistle Stop is planned for this Monday, September 29th, at
6:30PM at Trinity Lutheran Church at the corner of Florida and Anderson in
Urbana. There will be red signs indicating the location.
We are hoping to get at least one Congregational Coordinator from
each church in the Champaign County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans in attendance at this event. Letters went out to each of you a
few weeks ago inviting you to this event -- you won't want to miss it if
you have questions on how your position as Congregational Coordinator for
your church fits into the Thrivent Chapter system.Have you ever asked yourself?
"What's my job description?"
"How do I apply for Care in Congregations dollars?"
"What is my part in the fall elections?"
"Can we do projects in the community?"
"Where do I go for answers to my questions?"
