Hi Congregational Coordinator of your church!

Thanks much for serving in this capacity, serving your church and the local chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Sorry for the number of notes making this list at this time, but with elections coming up there is some business to take care of. We need to get as many votes in as possible, so we need to make sure we are encouraging our members to attend the luncheon election, or the follow-on elections in your churches the week after the event.

A few items of information --

The next Board Meeting of the Champaign County Chapter on Monday October 13th is hosted at the American Lutheran Church in Rantoul. You are all welcome to attend if you desire; more information and a map to it can be found at:

At this meeting we will be preparing the final slate of officers for the local chapter for next year. PLEASE if you or someone you know would be interested in helping your local chapter by volunteering a few hours each month, contact Walter Pierce or any of the members of the board. We need fresh faces and fresh ideas on the board for next year! Information on the positions can be found at these two web sites:

One congregational coordinator has an email list for members of his church, and he suggested that I compose a note that he could send out as if it was from him. I did so and posted it on the bulletin page; feel free to copy it and send it out to the people in your church. Customize it as you desire. Also, make sure that the bulletin announcement for next Sunday gets inserted .. we want to make sure that everyone who can make it does make it to the luncheon. It should be a great time of fellowship, AND you may come away with a 20" TV!
