Our Chapter meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month usually at Grace Lutheran Church, Monroe, Michigan. Our regular meeting time is 9 am. The chapter occasionally meets at the various congregations of the county.Thrivent Financial has allocated operating funds for the Chapter Board to pay expenses incurred for elections, meetings and other needs within the Board's function. They have already set a precedent with these operating funds by providing Thrivent Financial logo cups and napkins to all 21 congregations in the Chapter.
The funds that are available for work projects and fund raisers started the year out at $35,765. This figure was achieved by a formula created by Thrivent Financial. Remember that the new structure will require participation of a minimum of six different Thrivent Financial member households.
At the beginning of the year, forms for using community funds are mailed to all congregational advocates. Other Thrivent members can get forms by contacting a chapter leader.
