We serve the Allegheny County region, which includes the city of Pittsburgh. We are one of the largest chapters in the nation.

OFF TO A GREAT START....
Our Chapter is off to a great start. We are determined to continue the progress we made last year, using all of our allocatd funds to support projects in the Allegheny County Area. We are developing ideas for activities and events to support Thrivent's emphasis for 2010. Watch our site for updates and opportunities to serve one another, there-by serving our Lord.

About Our Chapter
Thank you for visiting our chapter Web site. Here’s a few things you should know about our chapter.

Our chapter is one of nearly 1,400 nationwide chartered local units of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans that brings Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members together for charitable, social and educational activities. Chapters are organized geographically, primarily by county. All Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members belong to a chapter in the area in which they live, which enables them to aid themselves and others through voluntary action.

Each chapter has a leadership board made up of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members who are elected and/or appointed. The chapter leadership board is responsible for allocating funds to service teams for helping individuals and community organizations.
