About Our Chapter |
In 2008, Clarion Chapter which includes the counties of Armstrong, Cameron, Clarion, Elk, Forest, McKean, Venango and Warren in Western PA has $32,945 in funding available through the Care Abounds in Community program of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for our members to support needs in our communities.In addition, we have $77,500 in funding available through the Care in Congregation program of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to support needs in our 58 congregations. Our chapter meeting is held the third Tuesday of the month, rotating between a meeting at Evermore's Restaurant in New Bethlehem and then a teleconference meeting the following month. Care in Congregation Information |
|

Three Thrivent Financial For Lutherans members from three different Thrivent households are needed as Congregational Coordinators per church to register projects with the home office and then to report results after project(s) or activity(ies) are completed. Are you willing to make a difference and help your church access their Care in Congregations funding? If your congregation does not have the three required congregational coordinators, you can call Eva Hobbs, Congregational Service Team Director on your chapter board at (724) 664-0927 or Fraternal Customer Service at 1-800-236-3736 to register them. | |
The chapter leaders would like to urge each church to take advantage of the funds available to them. Start planning your projects today and get them registered with the home office by either calling 1-800-236-3736 or by going out on the internet under www.thrivent.com, members only, Congregational Coordinators Administration. If it is the first time you visited the site and you do not have a pin number, you will have to register for a pin. It will be mailed to you in three business days. |
