LWML News
If any members of the congregation needs transportation to church service, the doctor, the grocery store, or other necessary trip, you can call Gretchen Lambrecht at 816-233-3006 and she will arrange transportation for you. If you would be able to help out once in a while as a driver for one of our members, you can call Gretchen, too. She'll be glad to add your name to our list of drivers.

Please check in the narthex for the next time we serve at the Open Door Food Kitchen.

Donna, Gretchen, and Rose Dedicated to serving in His name.
One of several ways LWML serves is the Open Door Food Kitchen.
Many ladies of St. Peter belong to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. They are divided into 3 circles. The Ruth circle meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month during the day. The Grace & Esther Circles meet in the evening: Grace on the 2nd Tuesday & Esther the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The LWML motto is: Mission Education, Mission Inspiration, and Mission Service are the aims and incentives of the organization. Bible study is an important part of each meeting. As service projects the members make lap robes, provide support to the abuse shelter, residents of Bethesda Home, Salvation Army, Pattee Hall, Cook & serve at the Open Door Food Kitchen on the first Saturday of each odd month and Homeless Men's Cold Weather Shelter. In addition they support the Cradle Roll, alter duties, visit the shut-ins, cook, serve, support, pray for & love teh members of St. Peter and community. This love is reflected in the "Mite Box" providing money for any areas of need throughout our zone, districts & world.
St. Peter LWML has been a blessing to God and the church at large for the past 60 years. LWML has been a blessing to each and every LWML member where-ever she is. May God's blessings continue on us all as we "Serve the Lord with Gladness." Questions or Comments Contact Gretchen 279-8190

Everyone is welcome to serve First Saturday of each odd month from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.

A helping hand! Uth are always getting in on the action.
