Active Christian Teens very active this last summer
This last summer youth from Mt. Calvary and St. Paul's Lutheran helped to promote our Vacation Bible School program by volunteering to work on our VBS SCUBA float which appeared in two different parades in the area. The picture at the left shows some of our workers hard at it. We offered our VBS to kids from preschool age through sixth grade. The Theme SCUBA stands for Super Cool Undersea Bible Adventure. Throughout the lessons the children learned some very basic truths, like God loves us and wants us to believe in Him. He also wishes us to trust and obey Him so that we can share God and his love with those around us. Many attended our VBS this year due to the support of our two churches, but especially by the work of the Holy Spirit through volunteers.

We did a lot of other fun things with the youth this last summer also. Pictured to the left are some from our combined church youth group who made a pit stop at Casey's Amusement Park in Alexandria, MN. Driving Go Carts at the Park was only one of the exciting things we did. They also had fun playing Miniture Golf and going on the Bumper Boats.
Our A.C.T. group is a combined group of confirmation age and older teen age youth from St. Paul's and Mt. Calvary. They do regular service activities like clean road ditches to help keep Minnesota highway 29 and God's creation beautiful. This year they also planted evergreen trees around the St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery.
