Mollie Frawley,

Robert Whitlach
Financial Representative
Phil Peterson of the Pensacola Chapter truly reflects what it means to be a volunteer. His love of the Lord shines through Phil as he demonstrates his care and concern for others through his volunteer work. Phil has served as a chapter leader, chapter advisor and worked closely with the Thrivent Builds Home program in the Pensacola area. He has a major voice in supporting the Manna Food bank and sings in a Barbershop quartet that performs to local nursing homes and groups. In his church, Grace Lutheran, he is involved in Stephen Ministry, the choir, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern District of the LCMS. Thank you Phil for all of your service!
In 2007 Mollie Frawley was the catalyst in the Tallahassee Chapter. As a leader, Mollie helped the chapter and the members to feel more ownership in being a member. No stranger to service, Mollie is deeply involved in numerous activities, gives all projects 110% including her church, Epiphany Lutheran, as well as Lutheran Social Services, Crop Walk and Big Bend Cares. When the Traveling Thrivent Art show came to Tallahassee, she saw this as an opportunity for their members. She organized a great member activity, where members were treated to an appreciation event to see the wonderful etchings and engravings, and to enjoy the science museum involving the entire family. Mollie demonstrates the model Thrivent volunteer. We have been blessed with her in Florida!
Rob Whitlach, a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church of Port St. Lucie started with Thrivent in 2007 and hit the ground running. Rob’s leadership in his congregation, chapter and community is key to his success as a new Financial Representative. Rob works very closely with the Martin-St. Lucie Chapter and led a Lutheran Night at the Ballpark. Rob also participated in a Susan G. Komen fund-raiser, MASH-BASH to support the Salvation Army, Redeemer Lutheran School landscaping project to name just a few! Rob is building a strong team of Financial Representatives for the area.

Three out of 35 Thrivent Financial chapters in the Florida region earned the excellence award in 2007.
In order to earn the Thrivent Financial Chapter of Excellence status in 2007, a chapter had to meet thirteen key hallmarks including conducting youth-adult volunteer programs and utilizing 100 percent of the funding available to support community service projects through the chapter’s Care Abounds in Communities program.

The ceremony was held at the Thrivent Builds home in Port Charlotte, where Elaine serves as a Thrivent Builds Specialist, a project that is close to her heart.
