| 2005 Indianapolis Air Show Named "Air Show of the Year!" |
For the third consecutive year, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and the Indiana Regional Financial Office (RFO) made a significant contribution to the 2005 Indianapolis Air Show. Financial associates from throughout our region teamed up with almost one thousand volunteers at the 2005 Indianapolis Air Show, Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28, 2005. The two-day volunteer event raised over $350,000 for Riley Hospital for Children--making it the largest charitable event in support of Riley Hospital. Featured attractions included the United States Navy Blue Angels, Vintage Warbirds, Classic and Antique Cars, Jay Jay the Jet Kids Area and much more. It was great family fun! Over 900 volunteers supported the Air Show, reporting over 6,700 volunteer hours. Each volunteer received free admission and parking, a special volunteer t-shirt and complimentary food and beverages at the Thrivent flight line chalet - a front row seat. Volunteers were asked to commit to 3 - 4 hour shifts. |

Commander Officer and Flight Team Leader Steve Foley said "The 2005 Indianapolis Air Show raised the bar in show excellence and we are proud to recognize their team as our 2005 Blue Angels Air Show of the Year." |

New Regional Financial Office |

|
Greenwood Mayor Henderson and Tony Boxfdorfer, Managing Partner for the Indiana Region of Thrivent and owner of the property, at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our new Thrivent regional financial office at 243 S Madison Avenue in Greenwood. The historic Grafton Johnson House, built in 1842, is one of the oldest buildings in Greenwood and Johnson County. Over the years, the property has been a doctor's office, a realtor's office and a financial services office. It's known in town as the "big, white house" that once had bears and lions caged on the property. Not everyone can say that about their office building! Photo taken in September 2005 |

| Operation Home Again: Indiana Region donated $10,237 |
Thank you to everyone involved in the Indiana Region of Thrivent Financial for Lutheran's efforts to raise money for the tornado victims in Evansville, Indiana.
