City-Wide Blood Drive Results |
Thanks to all the people who helped make this year's City-Wide Blood Drive such a success. On April 29, 2006, we had a total of 205 people donate blood, with 23 of them being new donors! Out of six host church locations and seven Indiana Blood Center walk-in locations, St. John's Lutheran Church had the most donors with a total of 31. In appreciation of our donors, the local Indianapolis chapters of Thrivent Financial gave away $500 in gift certificates with our prize drawings. Also as an added bonus, the greater Indianapolis financial representatives will make a dollar per donor donation of $205 to Lutheran Child & Family Services. Donors, remember your cholesterol level and blood type are available for 60 days after the event by calling the Indiana Blood Center at (317) 927-1734. | | |
