Join Hands Day Projects in La Porte County

Volunteers landscaping at a Habitat for Humanity home in Michigan City
The La Porte County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans planned two Join Hands Day events in 2006.

Bethany Lutheran Church purchased and assembled food packages for the LaPorte Pantry and delivered them to needy individuals. Bethany received $500.00 in Join Hands Day funds.

Their other Join Hands Day event was the landscaping of a Habitat for Humanity home in Michigan City. This photo is part of the crew that worked on the home.
