 Eleanor (Ellie) Hemmingson |
Webster City, Iowa
Hamilton County Chapter
Ellie has attended Thrivent board meetings to make presentations and requests.
She is always looking for ways to help others. Last year her biggest project was assisting in the clean-up of Stratford after the tornado and in planning and executing the Thrivent-sponsored Christian concert to honor other volunteers and to help raise funds for restoration of the town. This included recruiting ‘Swen and Dean’ and ‘Captive Free’ and gaining the staffed presence and lighted informational displays of three Lutheran youth Bible camps (Camp Okoboji - LCMS; Ingham Okoboji – ELCA; and Riverside – ELCA).
