Chapter Leaders, members and others (youth and adults) from Cottonwood County Chapter got together at the Storden Community Center to fill 60 birthday bags that were delivered to the Mt. Lake and Windom area food shelves. The bags were decorated by some of the 47 volunteers participating and then filled with all the items needed to put on a birthday party such as cake mix, frosting, candles, theme cups, plates, napkins, balloons, party favors and even a small gift for the birthday person! Following the activity, the volunteers enjoyed ice cream sundaes and of course the personal satisfaction brought by helping others in need.
