In 2009 Thrivent Builds will construct 314 homes in 37 states. The Southern Minnesota Region of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is teaming up Habitat for Humanity to build 11 homes through the efforts of its Thrivent Chapters and Lutheran Congregations.

Are you ready to get involved? Opportunities are available now for interested individuals and churches. There are many ways that you can get involved to support your local Habitat affiliates through this program. Please contact Gary Irmiter if you are interested in this rewarding experience!

Volunteer on a Build Site
With or without building skills, your time and effort are valuable to these projects. Groups of 15-18 are needed each day at the build locations. In 2009 Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity will be constructing the following homes in the Southern Minnesota area:
1 in Dundas
1 in Owatonna
1 in Waseca
1 in Cannon Falls
1 in Rochester
1 in Le Seuer
1 in St. James
1 in Mapleton
1 in Wabasso
1 in Houston
1 yet to be announced
