The Arlington Chapter is small but MIGHTY, consisting of Thrivent Financial members who live in Arlington or attend Resurrection, Our Savior, Faith and Advent congregations.The Chapter Leadership Board meets monthly except for July and August. Board members serve one year terms (Jan - Dec) and elections are held in late fall. Chapter newsletters are published and mailed to all Chapter members several times a year.
The Chapter conducts fundraisers and service projects to benefit our neighbors in Arlington and beyond. Recent recipients have included the Arlington Street People's Assistance Network (A-SPAN), Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), Arlingtonians Meeting Emergency Needs (AMEN), For Immediate Sympathetic Help (FISH) and others.
The Arlington Chapter sponsors a team in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Arlington each summer, and chapter members and friends walk together in the annual CROP Walk to fight hunger here and around the world.
