Thank you from the St. John’s youth group for the money from last years gift for the trip to New Orleans.
Mary announced workshop on Long-term care and investing on February 26th at 12:30pm and invited everyone.
Program funds available:
The Board agreed that there shall be a limit of $300 or 50% of funds raised for each activity, or 1/3 of the funds raised if greater then $900, and then a maximum limit of $500, total grant for each activity. When there is a Hands On activity, the limit shall be an amount up to the total expense claimed, with a limit of $500. At the determination of the Financial Director and one other leader, hours of volunteer time may be considered.
Projects approved by the Lincoln County Board are: Community Salad Luncheon for Wilkins in Sprague for $500, Annual Pancake Feed at Wilbur $250, Lasagna Feed for Lutherhaven Camperships in Sprague for $300, Chase Warrington Cancer fundraiser in Wilbur for $500, Annual Easter Bake Sale in Sprague for $300.

Treasurers report: Carried over $139.79 and received $2081.79 for a total of $2,220.79.
Tim Eitreim shared some of the goals to make us a Chapter of Excellence. Goal for 2011 – 5 new benefit members. (had 8), to grow the chapter by 8 associate members. (we had 0), Goal of having 4 types of activities (educational and social activities), Goal for volunteer hours 1,716 (we did 5,439) Dollars raised for charitable dollars was $10, 512. (we raised $26,487). Tim thanked us for our significant work.
Thrivent Region – Thrivent Choice available $2.6 million dollars. OF that $2.6, only $1.3 was directed.
Chapter was encouraged to announce in church the committing of their 2012 choice dollars to their churches.
Being a Thrivent member provides Legal Services for wills and trusts, Identity Theft. Encourage being a Congregational Advocate. Benefit members who become congregational advocates get an extra $25 for choice dollars.
