For the past 30 years and especially since my retirement as a geologist from Union Oil Company of California, I have kept active in the benevolence side Thrivent and it's predecessors. My wife Sue and I also do church services at nursing and assisted living homes. We have a home in the country near Beasley where we operate a Christian day retreat center. I currently serve on the board of directors for Lutheran Intercity Ministries (LINC) of Houston and have been active in various leadership and service positions in our church congregations during our travels around the country. Presently we worship at Fishers of Men Lutheran in Sugar Land. We have two adult children and two very lively grand children. Click here for Contact Information

I am a degreed and licensed Speech Language Pathologist and for the last 18 years have worked with a program called Project GROW/ECI in Fort Bend and Waller Counties. We do home visits and see parents and children from birth to the age of 3, with disabilities or those at risk for disabilities, providing help and support the families to help their children be the best they can be.I have been a member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Katy for the last 20 years. I have been part of the ministry of that church for several years by playing flute in the praise band at our contemporary service and playing hand bells and singing in the choir in the earlier years. I was Alcolyte mother when my children were of that age and have been part of the Altar Guild as well. With the Ft.Bend/Wharton County Chapter, I have been a coordinator for my church and the wife of the president of the Chapter at that time, Ben Powell. Since his death, I have continued to be part of the greatest team of service minded volunteers of this chapter and now serve as The Events Coordinator. Click here for Contact Information
