May Day Dollar Daze--Spring/Summer 2010
Divine Redeemer raised $3000 with a $1000 Care in Communities Match to benefit the Hartland Food Pantry and Lake Country Caring. Each agency received $2000 to further their missions in the Lake Country area. Jim Healy and Karen Lippert were happy to deliver the checks!
Chapter Board interacts with many at LakeWalk 2008
The chapter board handed out water and protein bars to record numbers of walkers at this community event in Oconomowoc in May 2008.
Adopt-a-Highway
SPRING CLEAN-UP for our Adopt-a-Highway location on County Road K is re-scheduled for May 10 at 9:00 a.m. It was cancelled April 26 due to weather conditions. We will meet at the Town Hall corner of County Roads P & K.

The fall clean-up was held October 20,2007. Thank you to those who came out and did a quick clean-up!

Waukesha County Adopt-a-Highway
Thrivent Builds in Milwaukee Neighborhood
Thrivent Builds Week took place in Milwaukee from June 14-18, 2007. Habitat for Humanity of Milwaukee guided and coordinated this project providing experienced carpenters as house construction leaders. Financial support in building the ten homes designated for this year's project came from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Workers from the Oconomowoc area included Barbara Johnson, Kristen Johnson, Donald Scharfenberg, Jamie Stache, Thrivent Representative Tom Massnick and Thrivent Builds Specialist Chris Lewein joined by folks from various Lutheran churches in Waukesha, Washington, and Milwaukee Counties.
