I am George Neuberger, and you have elected me to serve as your Thrivent Board President.
I have been married for 19 years to Patricia, and we are the proud parents of Emily, a freshman at Watertown Senior High School, and Katherine (Katie), a seventh grader and Good Shepherd Lutheran School. Patricia was a band director in the Watertown Public Schools when we met. Today, she is the part time director of our twenty-one piece Good Shepherd Lutheran School band. When not directing the band, she is helping out somewhere at GSLS, where she fundraises (isn’t that handy, Thrivent members?), assists in the K, 1, and 2 grade classrooms, serves as a PTL officer, and wears whatever hat that day suggests!I have practiced law in Watertown for 29 years (for all of you mathematicians, I started when I was 6 years old). My practice is restricted primarily to estate planning, probate and trust administration, elder law, real property, and business entities. I also volunteer actively in our church and in other various community activities. I look forward to serving you on the Jefferson County Thrivent Board. Both of our children are grown, married and each has two children of their own. Dan and I are retired and keep ourselves busy with a variety of activities, such as bible class, walking, line dancing and volunteering. My hobbies include reading, knitting, crocheting, and walking. Hi ~ I’m Lisa (Maass) Kerr. I was born and raised in Watertown and now reside in the township of Farmington in an 1854 log cabin that we had moved from Door County and reassembled on our property. I’m married to Dan and we have 3 children; Gaige, 15, a freshman at Lakeside Lutheran High School, Bailey, 12, a 6th grader, and Cannon, 6, a 1st grader. They attend St. Peter’s School in Helenville and we are members at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farmington. I’m employed with ProHealth Care as a Network Analyst in the Information Systems department. My husband is an RN Clinical Manager and works at Middleton Village Nursing and Rehab Center. We enjoy attending our kids’ music and sporting events and spending time with family and friends. It is an honor to be on the Thrivent board and very rewarding to be able to help organizations receive supplemental money for their fundraising efforts.

I have been married to Michael for 12 years and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters; Ashley is 10 and Samantha is 8. They attend St. John Lutheran School-WELS in Waterloo.Michael is a Letter Carrier for the Watertown Post Office. I have worked for American Family Insurance Group at the home office in Madison for 22 years. Currently, I work in the Agency Services Department, helping our agents run their businesses. My education includes: my Agent's License in all lines, an Associate in Customer Service, an Associate in Accounting, a Certificate in Project Management from UW-Madison, and my Fellow Life Management Institue designation. I have served or am currently serving as Lead Congregational Coordinator, Special Programs Coordinator for my church, I co-lead the Boys and Girls Club, Create and Update our Church Website, Library Committee, organize the Christmas for Kids Outreach Program, I was past Vice President and President of the Parent Teacher Organization, and was on the School Shepherding Committee as well as other committees as necessary.
We enjoy fishing, watching Ashley play sports and hearing both girls play piano with their God given talents. Joanne also bowls and enjoys reading, scrapbooking and stamping. A member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Jefferson, Lane is married to wife Sheryl, and together they have two children, Marissa and Alan. He earned his B.S. degree from Western Illinois University in 1984, and currently is Financial Consultant and Regional Management Associate for Thrivent Financial, his office being located in Oconomowoc. His other volunteer involvement includes church council, Lutheran Homes of Oshkosh volunteer, and Bethel Homes Foundation. | |
