Shoes for Forsyth is off to a great success thanks in part to the congregration of Christ the King in Cumming Georgia. They got into the spirit of the event by having a 'Barefoot Sunday'. Participants were encouraged to leave their shoes at the door to help provide shoes for those in need in our community!
Barefoot Sunday netted 175 pairs of shoes and about a dozen packages of socks and underwear. This project will continue until the end of June. If you forgot to bring your donations this past Sunday, there is still plenty of time to provide these much needed items for the homeless. Thank you for your continuing support.
