CHURCH OFFICE HOURS: Because our Secretary is part time, our office hours are Thursday and Friday from 8:30-11:30am, or if you call 749-0014, you may leave a message for the Pastor or contact the Kid's Club. Need a Church Home? Often we carry burdens that are too heavy for us alone, but thankfully we can give our cares to God through prayer, and receive strength through attending the Service of choice.
We are always glad to have you as a guest and if you need us, please come or call, 749-0014. We are Handicap friendly. You will find we are all on one level and have covered access from the outside, where one may be dropped off and someone will help them inside.
Please visit our Welcome Center Desk in the Entry, where you will find helpful information.
We have two services. The early service is a heritage service. The second service is a blended service using contemporary music and a heritage hymn but contains all the sacraments and liturgical elements that are traditionally used. On Holidays, and Special Sundays, there is sometimes only one Service. BE SURE TO CHECK OUR CALENDAR!

CENTRAL LUTHERAN'S COMMERCIAL**- Central filmed a commercial for PBS. If you would like to watch it, tune to channel 39(PBS). It is being aired daily, Monday thru Friday at 9:00am and 9:30 am. It is also being shown on a rotator on the PBS Kid's Channel. Our students and faculty did a great job!!
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY BAGS. The children's bags have been sanitized and may be used for children up through Preschool/ Kindergarten/1st grade ages. These help pass the time for restless little ones during the Service. Feel free to ask a Deacon for one, or you will find them on the shelf in back, on the East side of church. If you need one, please bring hand sanitizer for your child to use before and after using the bag during "Flu Season". Thank you.
***ENDOWMENT FUND***
Many members are not aware that Martini has an endowment fund. We ask that you consider a gift to the church in the form of a gift to the Endowment Fund. This can be done as a memorial, added to your will, or a gift to honor someone. This is an ongoing gift since the principle will not be used, only the interest. THANK YOU.
** OUR CENTRAL LUTHERAN SCHOOL IS A TOP SCHOOL IN THE AREA.**
We are always proud of our ISTEP Scores which are several points higher than the nearby schools. We are fully accredited by the State of Indiana and the Private School Education Board. The children learn in a loving, nurturing manner where Jesus is their mentor.
We again received an Exemplary rating from the State. Did you know that OUR 8th GRADE RANKED 1ST IN THE STATE on our last ISTEP exams? Great things are happening at Central.
If you would like to tour Central, call 493 2502. Our Principal, Mr. Kevin Creutz, will be glad to have you call.
Don't forget when shopping at OFFICE DEPOT to mention Central Lutheran. We will receive store credit for money spent by you, AND A PERCENTAGE GOES TO CENTRAL.
CHANGE IN CAMPBELL FOOD LABELS: Effective immediately, Campbell's Soup will no longer accept the front of the labels for redemption. Instead they are requiring the UPC codes from all eligible products. Saving Campbell's Soup Labels has been a program at Central for over 25 years. We have been able to order merchandise from a catalogue for our school. Please continue to save the UPC's for Central. You will find a box on shelf above coat rack for this purpose, or give them to Pat Augenstein. ALSO, IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO CUT CAMPBELL LABELS, JUST PUT THE WHOLE LABEL IN THE BOX AND PAT WILL SEE THEY ARE READY FOR USE.
MARKETING MINUTES- DID YOU KNOW THAT----
Central Lutheran uses a reading program called Accelerated Reader, or AR for short? After a student reads a book, he takes a comprehension test on the computer. He earns points for each test passed. The books all have point values ranging from .5 in the first grade to an average of 4-5 points in Junior high.
Central Lutheran is an outreach for our congregations. In order to be an outreach, we need you to talk to your families and friends. When talking to them, tell them that Central Lutheran is a caring, loving, sharing family of Christians where your child can feel safe and secure, while receiving special individual attention, and encourage them to make an appointment with Mr. Kevin Creutz, Principal, 493-2502.
