Call Committee Update: Exciting times are near!
The next couple of weeks are going to be an exciting time for the body here at Trinity. The phone interviews with potential candidates has been completed and the committee will meet once more to go over the notes from the interviews and then
present it's recommendation to the congregation.
August 1st at 4:00 P.M. in the sanctuary is the day to mark on your calendar. We will meet in a " Call Service" with our District Counselor Pastor Marty Nutter at this time. We will present the recommendations, open the floor for discussion and
then vote by ballot for our choice to whom we want to extend a call to fill our vacancy.
Please remember in your prayers, the committee members. our candidates and the body here at Trinity that the Holy Spirit will guide us through this process and that He will touch the heart of the one he has chosen.
After the selection has been made by a majority vote we will extend a formal call to that candidate. We should then hold up in prayer that individual and his church as he looks to the Lord for guidance.
We want at this time to extend our thanks and appreciation to the congregation for their patience, support and understanding during this vacancy period. The Board of Elders and the Call Committee thank each and everyone of you.
May the Lord continue to Bless and keep us in His care as we move forward in our ministry here at Trinity.
Rodger Peterson
Chairman, Board of Elders

Synod re-elects Kieschnick, and elects Dielelman first vice president
Delegates to the 62nd Regular convention of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod elected Dr. Gerald Kieschnick to his second three year term a president of the 25 million member church body.
The convention also elected Oklahoma District President William Diekelman to his first term as Synod first vice president.
Our prayers go out to these men as they do their work for the church and the Lord.
