Immanuel ChristCare Groups are living expressions of Jesus' love that provide care and belonging, build faithful disciples, and immerse group members and visitors in joy-filled Christian community.ChristCare is:
-a way to get to know God and others better through ChristCare Groups of three to twelve people;
-a ministry that is set up and directed by Equippers - members of our congregation who have been specially trained to lead our ChristCare Group Ministry;
-a ministry that is led by ChristCare Group Leaders, members of our congregation who have been selected and equipped to lead ChristCare Groups;
-small groups where you can grow as a Christian; they are circles of care with Christ at the center. They meet at the church or in members' homes.
-a way to respond to God's call to all Christians to reach out to others with God's care and saving love;
-a place to share, to laugh, to cry, to pray, to learn, and to serve with other Christians.
ChristCare Groups carry on mission and ministry that the group decides on.
We currently have two groups:
Rays of Hope: Leaders are: Phil & Judy Cassler. Their mission focus is social ministry and the coordination of opportunities for members and congregation to serve the physical needs of members and non-members.
Circles of Love: Leader: Ramona Scarth. Their mission focus is upon visitation to guests, members: the sick, the home-bound, the widowed.
