Our Sunday School Director, Wendy Tunak
SUNDAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Rally Day is September 13. Time for the big Sunday School kick-off.
Schedule:
9 a.m. At Worship there will be the Sunday School installatiom and 1st Graders will receive their Bibles.
10 to 11 a.m. The fun will start with a kid sing-a-long, a scavenger hunt, and meet their teachers.
11 a.m. a Thank you and Welcome Potluck. Please bring 2 dishes to share and your own table service. Beverage will be provided. This will be a time to says "thanks" to Wendy Tunak who served 12 years as Christian Education Director and to Welcome Kim Ottman as the new CED. All members and friends of Trinity are invited to share this time of food and fellowship.

Prayer Power
Teaching children to pray is relatively easy. We pray aloud with them at meals. We teach them simple nighttime prayers. But sometimes we forget the most important thing about prayer. Prayer's effectiveness does not depend on what we say of how we say it; prayer makes a difference because. the one we address has ultimate power in this universe. Affirming this truth gives children a special confidence in prayer. The prayer recorded here was offered in a time of stress and persecution. The believers, remembering God and what he had done, had such confidence that they made their request In absolute
assurance and faith. Next time you or one of your children faces a difficult situation, read this passage together. Then pray, following the example of the early Christians, making your request in complete confidence that the Lord is fully able to do what you ask.
