Prince of Peace Lutheran Church was founded in September of 1993 by a small, faithful group who sought to be true to God's inerrant Word and the Lutheran Confessions.

Though growth was small, this group continued faithfully to worship, and reach out into the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Because of long periods of time without a pastor, there were many lay preachers who came to bring the message each week from God's Word. Three of these men are attending the Association Free Lutheran Theological Seminary in suburban Minneapolis, MN at this time. Though they only preached to 15 or 20 people each Sunday, they said it was a blessing to bring God's Word to these people.

People have found Prince of Peace to be a warm and welcoming environment. They are grateful for a Lutheran congregation which boldly stands upon the inerrant Word of God.
