Lucius N. Scovil was born March 18, 1806 at Middlebury, New Haven County, Connecticut and married Lucy Snow on June 15, 1824. Lucius was baptized on July 2, 1836 and endowed in the Nauvoo Temple on December 13, 1845. | |

THE subscriber wishes to inform the citizens of Nauvoo and the adjacent towns, that he has established a Bakery and Confectionery, in this city, on Main Street, first door south of the new Masonic Hall, where he intends to manufacture everything connected with that kind of business - Breads, Crackers, Cakes, Jellys snd Candies of all description which he will sell at St. Louis prices wholesale or retail.
