Lutheran Men

Our Lutheran Men normally meet each month on the second Friday at 7:00 p.m. for supper and fellowship. During February and July we sponsor a fellowship supper for the women of the congregation and during August sponsor an outing to a baseball game. The group also helps out with various projects around the church.

Our men's group is the local expression of the North Carolina Men and the ELCA Men in Mission. A link to Men in Mission is available below.
In addition to the monthly meeting a few men gather most Thursday mornings at 7:15 a.m. for prayer and a light breakfast.
Some of the members are planning to participate in the Promise Keepers conference scheduled for Raleigh, July 19-20, 2002. More information and a link may be found on the calendar page for July.
Several of our men were interested in a more structured ministry. We have begun a small group that meets every two weeks. They are starting with a study of King David and what he can teach us, good and bad, about relationships. They meet at 7:00 p.m. on every other Tuesday. In addition to Bible study these meetings offer an opportunity for support and accountability from other men. If you are interested please contact the church office or Steve Huber.
