We Believe and Teach
-Whoever believes in Jesus and is baptized will be saved and live eternally in heaven forever; whoever does not believe will be condemned eternally (Mark 16:16, John 3:36 and 14:6, Acts 4:12).
-The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is accurate in scientific, historical, and geographic matters as well as in spiritual matters (John 17:17, 2 Peter 1:20-21).
-Human beings are by nature sinful and rebellious against God, unable and unwilling to do God's will and born spiritually dead as revealed in the Bible (Psalm 51:5, Romans 7:18; Romans 8:7; Eph. 2:1-5).
-God is Holy and Just and cannot tolerate sin; He will punish sinners with eternal suffering in hell (Psalm 5:4-6, Ezekiel 18:4, Romans 6:23a, James 2:10, Matt. 25:41-46).
-At the same time God is loving; He sent His Son Jesus Christ to live and die for the sins of the entire world (John 3:16, Romans 3:23-24, Romans 6:23b, 1 John 1:7).
- God is a Triune God – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, Three persons yet One God. (Matt.28:19-20; Deut. 6:4)
- Jesus rose physically from the dead and now lives and rules eternally. He will come back to judge everyone who has ever lived (Ephesians 1:20-21, Acts 17:31, 1 Corinthians 15:20ff).
- God brings us the blessings that Jesus won for us through His Word (Rom. 10:17), and through the Sacraments of Baptism (Acts 2:38-39) and the Lord’s Supper (Matt. 26:26-29). Through these Means of Grace the Holy Spirit works and strengthens faith in us.
