Salem's Confirmation Class would like to thank everyone for the generous donations from the Coffee Hour that made it possible for them to purchase $375.00 worth of toys for needy children.The Heifer Project
Salem Sunday School raised $500.00 to purchase a heifer for Heifer International. Our gift makes it possible for families to receive training in animal management and sustainable agriculture. Because of this gift, families around the world now have the chance for a bright, healthy future.
Salem Youth Summer Mission Trip News
Our young people are planning to travel with Pastor Joelle to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi to help with Hurricane Katrina clean up and work with children in the area:
We are still looking for a male chaperone which is required by the sponsoring organization Youthworks.
The youth will be doing fund-raisers this year to help them pay for this trip. To get there we plan to rent a 15 passenger bus. The approximate cost for this, including gas money is around $1000.
