Souper Bowl 2008 | Our young people participate in this nation-wide event, collecting offerings for the hungry each year on Souperbowl Sunday. In 2008, donations were given to Samaritan Services, a local ministry and food pantry. | | Youth Encounter | | | Christ the King Church regularly sponsors Youth Encounter teams. These Christian bands travel all over the world, sharing the Good News of Jesus in music, puppets, and personal stories. Programs are free, appeal to all ages, and are open to the public. |

| | Wildlife Habitat | 
| Christ the King Church is registered as a Schoolyard Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation. Sunday School, Wednesday night, and summer ENRICH students enjoy feeding and watching birds at the feeder as they learn about caring for creation. Trees, bushes, flowers, herbs, and a bird bath make the church yard a welcoming home for birds, butterflies and other backyard creatures.
