The focus of our Sunday School is to help parents in training their children up in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). Our Sunday school is a place where kids can meet their friends and most importantly their best friend, Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that parents let their children come to build friendships within our church family, to enjoy personal concerns of teachers who care, to learn the good news of God's love as shown through Jesus Christ, and to "grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and people" ( see Luke 2:52). " I enjoy working with children and that is why I not only teach special Education in the public school system, but I work with children in our Sunday school. Our Sunday school has approximately 40 children. We has five classes: PreK-K, 1-2nd, 3-4th, 5-6th, and 7-8th. We also have an active adult bible study that meets at the same time as the children. This is Robin Mocks 5-6th grade. Terri Soristo ( not pictured) helps out with this class too.

We use the " Christ Light" curriculm and enjoy the variety of teaching approaches. Law and Gospel are taught in every lesson. Kim Koenig and other interested persons also put on puppet shows for our Sunday school children. Our last pupet show was about Reformation Day.
