St. Marks Lutheran Church History
St. Marks Lutheran Church began on May 8, 1960 when a small group of souls held their first services in the old Stambaugh Recreation Center. The group had no church, no pastor and no name, but by January 19, 1961, the group had a pastor, a church, and a name which endures today. St. Marks carries on today under the guidance of almighty God and in the name of the risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
