The picture on the left was taken during Edwin and Frieda Beckler's 40th wedding anniversary celebration. Dad Beckler was serving a church in Tobias, Nebraska. Marilyn (Beckler) Pulford took these pictures with her camera and sent them to me for use during the 2000 Beckler reunion in Colorado. The second picture involves all the grandchildren present at that time. One was cut off on the left side. Can you identify the others? |

HERB EMDE.... THE OLDEST LIVING RELATIVE ON FRIEDA BECKLER'S SIDE OF FAMILY |
Herb is the young brother of Frieda Beckler and lives with his wife Anne in California. They have attended a number of family reunions but were unable to travel to Colorado last summer. Herb has such a loving spirit. All of the original Beckler children have different portions of the Emde blood in them. In case you were wondering, that's where the party spirit comes. (some have it more than others.) Herb and Anne are both in need of our prayers because of health conditions. Putting them on your prayer list would be appreciated. | |

Altitude Concerns Affects Life at Beckler Reunion 2000 |

Sometime the excitement associated with a Beckler Family Reunion is more than some folks can handle. Some people are afraid of going to sleep because someone with a camera might be near. Others like Keven Clausen, Brian Clausen and Bern Ailts could care less about that camera. Hence, this picture. |
