Gordon Beckler is son number ten and currently lives in a Fifth Wheel. Most of the time he's parked at Lake Wales, Florida where son Bob lives. However, he spends time in California and also in Wichita visiting his son Rick and his family. In his first life he served as a teacher in the LCMS school system for twenty five years. He joined AAL in 1988 as a District Representative in California. Gordon and Sandy had three children, Robert (Bob), Richard (Rick) and Mike. Mike was called home to his Savior while he was a student at Topeka Lutheran School in Kansas. |

Gordon is presently serving as the administrator of the E&F Beckler Family Web Site anxiously awaiting other volunteers to join him as administrators. In fact, it would be nice to have at least one per family. That will help share the load and keep our family web site up to date with recent information and pictures.Gordon retired in 2002 from Thrivent in Appleton, Wisconsin. He purchased a very nice three axle Fifth Wheel and has lived in that facility since that time. Gas prices have curtailed his traveling and for the moment Gordon has settled in Lake Wales, Florida. He expects to travel again when gas prices come back down. Currently he teaches dance lessons at La Belle Torri on Tuesday evenings and attends dance venues at both Orlando and Tampa. In addition, he serves as a Senior Financial Coach for We Coach America. Any number of students throughout the country depend on Gordon for financial advice, which he coaches on a weekly basis. | |

Bob and Lori Beckler |
Bob and Lori Beckler live in Lake Wales, Florida. Bob, better know as Pastor Bob, is the Senior Pastor of Lake Wales Church of God. His church is growing very quickly and new members arrive every Sunday. The church is located on the campus of Werner University and part of his ministry is serving the needs of the students. His father brags about his preaching ability and feels that his experience as a teacher has aided in that ministry. Lori works closely with Pastor Bob and participates his the worship experience.Son Daniel, married to Eli, is now in Orlando working as an intern for Disney at the Wild World of Sports facility. There were twelve hundred applicants for that position and Daniel was the only one selected. He claims that it is a wonderful opportunity. Daughter Nicole, lives in Nashville where she serves as a personal assistant to Kathy Trocolli, a very gifted vocalist for the Lord. She travels a lot as a part of her work and seems to enjoy her ministry. |

Danny is starting his Freshman year at Oklahoma Baptist University and will play basketball there. Scouts (his grandpa) say that he has great basketball potential, to be as great as his grandpa thought he was and as good as his father and uncle thought they were, back when they played in the good old days.Nicole enjoys college and has a personality that attracts many friends. Of course, boyfriends are constantly on their guard when Nicole's intimidating father is around. I was just thinking of the things Nicole would have in common with all those other members of the Beckler family attending college.... Wouldn't that be something to see, all of them at the next reunion in July, 2005? |

Rick is the second son of Gordon. Rick, Katie, Joshua and Rachel live in Wichita, Kansas where both works for State Farm. They moved to Wichita November 2001. Their new address if found in the Address Page of this site.The family likes to camp during the summer months and have invested in a very nice boat for that purpose. Maybe we can talk him into bringing it to the next reunion. |

Rachel was trying to get in good with her mother, if I remember correctly. (Of course, she didn't realize that it was a crime to pick those flowers.) Young Rachel met many of her cousins at the 2000 reunion in Colorado and became attached to these new friends. It was a great experience to see the heritage of Jesus' love being passed through to three generations. And everyone who attended realized how important it was to keep in touch with family. | |

Rachel gives mom and dad a lot of joy with only occassional setbacks attributed sometimes to comments from her older brother Joshua. Rachel is a happy child and can entertain herself very easily. She enjoys school and likes to read. |

Joshua enjoyed the family reunion also, where he met many nice relatives who became his friends. Joshua is an intelligent student enrolled in a Lutheran School, constantly amazing his parents with his intellect. Grandpa thinks he'd make a great preacher, having endured many of his mini sermons through his Kindergarten experience. Joshua loves video games in addition to reading. |

Dad and Mom Zwingelberg have both been called home to be with their Lord. Dad Zwingelberg celebrated his 103th birthday. Mom Zwingelberg died at age 97 during 2007. They were both laid to rest in Wentworth, South Dakota, there home for many years.
