Faith's confirmation program stretches from 6-8th grade. In 6th grade, the students cover Bible stories never much touched on in Sunday School. It is taught by Mrs. Kate SarosyIn 7th grade, the student studies the history of the Christian church, beginning in the Book of Acts to the present. It is taught by Mrs. Vohney Witt
In 8th grade, the students studies the doctrines of the Lutheran Church. It is taught by Pastor Raebel
In all classes there is homework and memory work involved. The classes meet on Wednesday night starting at 6:00 p.m. and goes for about an hour. We start the confirmation program at the end of August and it goes to the end of March or middle of April. Confirmation, for those who have completed the courses, usually takes place the first Sunday of May. On the third Sunday of May, we honor our confirmands with a confirmation banquet, a formal sit-down dinner where their family and selected guests are invited.
