Church Council and Boards
The Parish Council
The purpose of this council is:

**to facilitate the discussion and coordination of the many programs and activities of the Administrative Boards,
**facilitate the completion of the many responsibilities of each Administrative Board,
**develop a yearly plan of activity,
**develop a 5 year and 10 year plan for the development and expansion of Christ's work in our midst,
**prepare an annual budget,
**set the date, time, and agenda for the regular meetings of the Voters' Assembly,
**select a Nominating Committee,
**and appoint successors to an office.

The Parish Council consists of the President, the Vice-President, the Recording Secretary, the Financial Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Chairman of each Administrative Board.

The Elected Officers of the Congregation
1. The President: Presiding Officer of the Voter's Assembly, call and preside over the meetings of the Parish Council, and appoint an Auditing Committee.

2. The Vice-President: Preside at Voter's Assembly and Parish Council in absence of the President, be available for whatever duties the President shall assign to him as his representative, chair the Audit Committee, and be responsible for presenting all Parish Council recommendations to the Voter's Assembly.

3. The Recording Secretary: Responsible for keeping minutes, enter minutes in a permanent record book, conduct all official correspondence of the boards and committees under the supervision of the President, and perform all duties normally pertaining to the office and other such duties as Voters' Assembly may delegate.

4. The Financial Secretary: Responsible for the receipt of all funds and their distribution into the various accounts.

5. The Treasurer: Responsible for the disbursement of all funds with the concurrence of the Chairman.


The Administrative Boards
1. The Board of Elders: In conjunction with the Pastor, responsible for the spiritual well-being of all members and those seeking membership and coordinating the activities of the Altar Guild and the Music Director.

2. The Board of Life Ministry: Responsible for the coordination of the activities of the Education Committee, the Youth Committee, the Fellowship Committee, and the Campus Ministry Committee.

3. The Board of Trustees: Responsible for all church properties both real and otherwise.

4. The Board of Evangelism: Coordinate the activities of the Public Relations Committee and the Social Ministry Committee.

5. The Board of Stewardship: Responsible for promoting the responsible stewardship of all the resources that God so graciously gives to us.
