The mission of NELOM is to build on the tradition of more than a half century of Bible camp ministry that has happened since the 1940s. We desire to be good stewards of the ministry that we have been entrusted with, and by God's Grace we pray that Bible Camp will continue to bring young people closer to Him. We joyously serve our Lord by planning and putting on Christ-centered overnight summer camp programs.

I pray that my role serving as president of NELOM will allow me to be instrumental in today's campers having the same spiritually uplifting Bible Camp experience that I had as a camper. I am thankful that we have been blessed with Camp Pineshore, a beautiful place in God's creation for this ministry to happen. I thank God for allowing me to be part of NELOM, I ask Him for the wisdom needed to serve as president, and I invite you to join me and be a part of Bible Camp.

I thank God that He blessed us with such a successful Bible Camp season during the summer of 2003, which also happened to be during my first year as NELOM president. The first year proved to be a valuable learning experience for me, and I believe God’s main lesson for me was in the form of a practical exercise in trusting Him to provide what is needed for Camp. By God’s Grace I will carry the message of this lesson with me into my second Bible Camp season as president. With that in mind, I pray with confidence for God’s blessings on Bible Camp ’04.

New England Lutheran Outdoor Ministries (NELOM) is an organization that serves as an extention of several New England District Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod congregations. We are dedicated to serving young people in our area and throughout New England by teaching them God’s Word, encouraging Christian fellowship, and promoting Jesus’ Great Commission through the Bible Camp ministry.
